About the Business

Hi, my name’s Stuart, I’m the owner of SandS Video, as well as the main cameraman and editor. I’m married to Sarah (who’s a wedding photographer), and we have 2 beautiful children, Lucy & Tom.

I started professionally filming weddings back in 2007. I’ve always been interested in film and video production, and I had previously filmed weddings for friends and family, so my initial plan was to start the business as a part-time venture. Things rapidly progressed and eventually I was so busy running TapeMe that I took the opportunity to make it my full time job.

I really enjoy what I do, it’s great to think that my work is making people so happy, and recording great memories for generations to come. At weddings, my preferred style is to work as a kind of ‘fly on the wall’, so I try not to get in the way, or otherwise influence, the wedding day. Instead, I work really hard in the background, capturing all the fun, emotion and excitement as it genuinely happens.

I should also mention that I’m a qualified Master Member of the Institute of Videography, the main professional body for videographers in the UK, and also a member of the Wirral Professional Wedding Services Group.

Business Services

Packages and Pricing

Our policy has always been to have straight forward pricing, so we have a set of packages suitable for a variety of weddings. We also have the flexibility to create a bespoke package just for you if required.

We always include a full set of edited high resolution image files (which you are free to use for personal use, Facebook etc.) with each wedding package. The amount of images produced will vary with the package, the size of the wedding and many other factors, but we’ve tried to provide a rough guide to this below.

Small Wedding Package £600:

This is a special package for smaller weddings with up to around 40 guests.

Coverage by Stuart or Sarah beginning with guests arriving at the ceremony location (we start about an hour before the ceremony). Coverage also includes the ceremony itself (within boundaries set by the venue), candid images of you and your guests, group shots and a short portrait session with the bride and groom. We will also photograph inside the wedding breakfast room before you and your guests go in, and capture your big entrance into the room. In addition, it is usually possible to take a mock ‘cutting the cake’ shot before the wedding breakfast.

Typically 100-200 images (each image in both colour and black and white versions) on USB stick or via online transfer.

Basic Wedding Package £800:

No restriction on wedding size.

Coverage by Stuart or Sarah from guests arriving to the wedding breakfast (as above).

Typically 200-300 images (each image in both colour and black and white versions) on Presentation USB stick with Presentation Box and 50 prints.

20 page 12 x 8 inch or 10 x 10 inch eco leather or photo cover album, suitable for up to 60 images.

Option: Wedding Video +£800.
